Stained Glass Stuff began as a small retail studio in Westboro in 1987. At first, there was only David and Hagar, the golden retriever. Later Hagar was replaced by Hugo, a bigger, louder golden retriever. The store moved next door to a larger location in 1994, about the same time Misha, a Great Pyrennes, arrived. Kevin started working in the store in 1995. Chris has been doing the classes since 1993. Sometimes the other Dave drops by to help out, when not writing the store newsletter. Now located a little farther down Richmond Road, the future looks bright for stained glass in the west end of Ottawa. Little Kitty learned at the feet of the master and now has full run of the store. Over the years, dogs, cats, and store locations, Stained Glass Stuff's goal has always been to be a friendly little studio for the stained glass hobbyist.
